Well yes and no...If you control the power..I guess you figure you can get away with it. On the other hand..
The people of the Redding area have let these people run things like this for sometime now. I believe in the past, those running REU and the city..were doing it for the right reasons, or at least believed they were.
I do not feel, this is the case now, in every case. These huge deals, are making people rich..just like the business that Shasta county approved in a toxic dump..Shasta Ranch..The sump ponds where the poison was shipped to and dispersed around the ranch to pumpkins you could not eat and hay you could not feed to cows, only horses..these ponds were never tested...And those leading the fight to stop this abortion, sorry no better word...were totally
out gunned. Money talks..
And I honestly believe in my heart...that big money is talking to someone at the city, the city council and REU...Someone is about to become very rich, maybe already is, for selling the citizens down the Sacramento River on our cities energy policies...
Yes jobs will be created..but not for our people, yes energy will be created, but not by our people, yes real estate will be improved and market values added to..but not Reddings. And the home to one of the first real renewable energy producing electric turbines in the state, Shasta Dam, will be known for our polluted air, gas fired turbines and hundreds of miles of electrified Grid lines that no one would raise a kid or a dairy cow under.
Ask them where they intend to retire?
Are they building their dream homes under these grids? Will those approving these deals should be..if they think they are safe.
Ask how many of them have huge grid lines running through and through their properties..I grew up here. I love my home..I love this country..
These people are traitors to our people. And someone is getting paid to continue down this path, just like Shasta Ranch...we need to find out how many and who, investigate around the county..citizen committees are being set up all over, city after city is joining the green movement...Why are our leaders going out of their way to do the wrong thing for the people of Redding, when it would be just as easy to do the right thing. I can only draw one conclusion, IT;S THE MONEY...as such, to answer your question..Yes, that IS Illegal_Green EarL
